Description

These cute little egg-shaped bunny rabbit kit cards make excellent Easter gifts.  The rear legs rotate so they can be posed to climb.  Print a bunch to hide as eggs or print a fluffle of bunnies to share with the bunny lover in your life.  Up to 15 eggs can fit comfortably on a P1S plate.  Pair them with these Chick Kit Cards or any of my other Kit Cards.

The parts of the bunny fit together snuggly.  So, it takes some pressure to get them together, especially the rear legs.  It is possible to increase the width of the slits for a looser fit within your slicer, if desired.

Plates are provided with and without the card border so that you can skip the border if you just want to put them together yourself.  There is also a square border if you don't think bunnies belong in eggs all year round.

I have included 2 print profiles, one for use with the AMS, one for use without.

The AMS profiles use 4 colors and will make sure your bunny has color on both sides.  For easy punch-out with the AMS version, avoid using the same color for the connections that you use for the bunny body.

The non-AMS version is designed so that you can print in two colors if you swap colors before the final layer (around 1.2mm).

Update 3/10/2026: I am giving this kit card an update just in time for Easter.

  • I have uploaded STLs with slits in them for those who would rather not use the print profile. (The old stls were autogenerated, and slits were not included.)
  • I uploaded a new “ultimate” print profile that incorporates what I've learned making kit cards for the last year. Most notably, the middle layer has colors bleeding between colors of on the same piece and on the supports that hold the model to the card. This helps keep the pieces from snapping while being removed from the print plate and assembled.
