This is a tool when you are going to install lining around a door or window. The tool consists of 4 parts, an upper part, lower part, screw and nut. You adjust the distances by sliding the upper part diagonally for the desired distance between the inside frame and the distance to the lining. It goes between 0-35mm.
Can also be used in cases where you need to mark out an equal distance in an inside corner.
I printed it in PETG to make it a little more durable, but it can be done in PLA or other material
How to use it around a door:
*Set the desired distance you want
*Place the tool and mark with a pencil in the upper corners, both vertically and horizontally
*Measure the distance between the lines
*Cut the lining at 45 degrees
*When you are going to install the lining, you can use the tool and place the lining against it and nail it in place.
This helped me enormously when I installed lining on my house. It went much faster than my usual approach and turned out nicer. Simply perfect.
Hope you like it and please leave feedback and pictures of your prints.
