This is a collection of 17 woodworking saddle squares. A saddle square is a woodworking tool designed to help accurately transfer layout lines from one surface to an adjacent surface, making it especially useful for marking angled cuts, tenons, bridle joints, and other joinery. Saddle squares wrap around corners, allowing you to mark both the face and edge of a board simultaneously, ensuring precise alignment of lines across adjacent surfaces.
This collection includes the follow saddle squares:
- Small basic 90 degree
- Large basic 90 degree
- 3 sided for the narrow side of a 2x4
- 3 sided for the wide side of a 2x4
- Folding saddle square – This has a hinged joint, allowing for easy adjustment and use on various angles.
- Small,30 degree, flared in, angle for marking a perpendicular line on one side and a 30 angle on an adjacent side.
- Large, 30 degree, flared in, angle for marking a perpendicular line on one side and a 30 angle on an adjacent side.

Note: The folding saddle square uses a #8 1.5 inch bolt and nut (or M4x40 bolt and nut)
