Description
Why: I bought this play pen for my puppy, but the entrance door is too high (~16cm) for a very small dog. So I wanted to make some steps for her to more easily get in and out.
What: I found some nice stackable crates at Primark, which are perfectly sized. So I designed this print to provide a solid, stable surface that snaps onto the tops of the each “step” of the DIY crate stairs I built.
How: To minimize material usage, the base thickness is only 1 mm. To balance this against strength/stabiity, I added a grid of reinforcing “ribs”, which are thicker in the middle, then taper out near the edges.
