Plate 4: pair of small earrings

Boost Me (for free)

I spent quite some time on this design, and on making sure it prints as well as possible. A free boosts motivates me and helps cover the costs.

Printed in Bambu PLA Basic in different colors, and also in ESUN PLA+, but that was more difficult. After fine tuning the print profile AND calibrating the pressure advance of the ESUN filament, these also came out nicely. If you have issues printing these with your filament, make sure you calibrate the settings for it. Typically not all strings will print successfully if your filament isn't properly dialed in.

If you try to scale them, take the closest size and adapt the x and y directions only. Don't alter the height or the strings won't print properly anymore. You might get away with changing the height if you also change the layer height, but no guarantees…

did you open the project in Bambu Studio or print directly from the app? Which printer and nozzle size are you using? It should print fine on a 0.4 mm nozzle, but not on a larger one. I tried printing it from the app myself after uploading and that worked, but maybe something changed in the slicer the app uses in the meantime. let me know and I'll see what I can do to help.

I opened the project on my laptop and didn't change any settings apart from using the color tool. when sliced the bridges showed they were shaded and did not show to generate. I decided to go ahead and press print anyway

what do you mean "color tool"? Do you mean painting the strings? Normally if tou want the 2 color version, all you have to do is choose 2 different color filaments. If that's not what you did, could you maybe add the print profile to my model (maybe name it so people know there's an issue with it) and I'll have a look.
