Whether you’re awaiting your new H2D printer or simply need a practical storage solution for plates up to ~325x325mm, the PlateMate has you covered. It’s available in 8 configurations, including variations with or without stabilizing feet and the option to feature the H2D logo.
Print the PlateMate on your existing X1/P1 series build plate while you wait for your new printer to arrive! Made from durable PLA or PETG, this design offers convenience and functionality. Pre-sliced 3MF files for Bambu Slicer are included, along with generic 3MF and STEP files for easy customization.

✔ Space-Saving Design – Holds up to five plates to keep your workspace organized.
✔ Multiple Configurations – Choose from different heights, stabilizing feet, and logo options.
✔ Durable & Customizable – Print in PLA, PETG, or other filaments, with pre-sliced files for Bambu Slicer.
Shown here is the “Short + Logo + Feet” version in blue PETG and black PLA. This file is the “PlateMate v8_PlateMate v8_Short v30_1.3mf” one.
Printing:
- 0.2-0.16 layer heights work well
- Slower outer wall speeds work well for a nicer finish
- Outer brim with 0.0 mm gap recommended for adhesion (anti-warp)
- There is occasionally a little layer-time change “bump” toward the front of the holder depending on the filament used / speeds of your printer. This is a very minor annoyance and may occur on some printers/filaments due to inherent process limits in 3D printing. I optimized it away as much as I could.
Keep your build plates neatly stored and ready for your next project with PlateMate – the ideal holder for H2D and beyond!
