Description

🎰 3D Printed Slot Machine – Spin, Store, Smile! 🪙

Ready to hit the jackpot in 3D printing? This fully 3D printable slot machine is a super fun desk toy and a sneaky little piggy bank! 💰 It features a smooth spinning mechanism with three separate slot rings that really spin (no batteries, just good ol' mechanical magic 🔧).

 

Easy to print, easy to assemble – no complicated parts, just snap it together and you're good to go! There's even a hidden drawer where you can stash coins, candy, or tiny secrets. Perfect as a gift, or just to make your desk 100% cooler 😎.

Assembly guide

Spinning mechanism

  1. Gather all  the parts needed for  assembly as shown in the sketch below.
  2. Inset the shaft into the cap
  3. Side the three gears onto the shaft. Make sure to align them as shown in the front and side views of the drawing. 
  4. Insert the spring
  5. Complete the assembly by inserting the handle.

Slots

Pro Tip: 🧩 It's recommended to glue the slot icon tiles onto the slot rings before assembly. Make sure each tile aligns perfectly with the sides of the slot rings for the best result.

  1. Insert the rotation shaft into the rotation cylinder
  2. Place the slot rings onto the rotation cylinder. They should fit loosely to spin freely

Assembly

  1. First, place the slot rings into their dedicated position. Make sure they spin freely.
  2. Insert the spinning mechanism. Ensure the spring  sits properly in its dedicated slot.

  3. Before installing the top cover, give it a quick test — spin the rings and check the mechanism. Everything should move smoothly and feel satisfying. If it’s not spinning right, now’s the time for a quick tweak!

 

🖼️ Use the reference images to correctly glue and place the decals. Make sure everything lines up nicely for that polished, finished look!

The parts are designed with standard 3D printer tolerances in mind. Make sure the mechanism works smoothly before installing the top cover.
