Finger Slot Machine

Hi everyone!
Allow me to introduce my brand new FINGER SLOT MACHINE.


Since everyone is interested in the essentials, let's get down to it, so I'll quickly give you the most important info.

  1. ALL PARTS ARE PRINTABLE
  2. I made the ring segments for 12-24mm fingers.
  3. All the elements are modular, so if you want you can interlock multiple sizes to fit your entire finger (but that's not important, it works perfectly with one size! ;) )
  4. The "UNIVERSAL parts" fit each ring segment and can be assembled perfectly
  5. Choose the one that fits your finger size and just start printing. Printing takes a little longer because I have set the print profile to make the rings and the shapes on them as beautiful as possible.
  6. The most important parts are the 2pcs thin washers between the segments! Do not underestimate them! :D Let's get on with the assembly! ;)
  7. In the new Bambu studio 2.0 I can't resize the prime tower so I changed the Flushing volume to 1.3 to make sure the nozzle clears the previous color. I also tested this and 1,3 worked for me!

 

Snap the parts together according to the exploded diagram.
I have highlighted how the two small washers should be positioned! They don't have a flat surface, they are stepped! The washers should be facing the middle segment! You can see everything in the pictures! ;) If the stepped sides are facing outwards the rotation will not work!!!

 

 

The upper lattice part that connects the two outer parts is intentionally made harder to snap together to take the clamping force off the segments and parts at the sides! You can snap it together by hand, but if you can't, use a pair of pliers to squeeze it together! I show you how! Be careful not to break the part!
