Just some remarks from my testing experience. Sleeved cards are quite hard to scan due to some glare effects. To fit the sleeved cards, of course the unsleeved cards slide around a little bit when scanning (gently shaking the box helps though).

Made a small change to your model to use a battery LED light so I don't have to run wires, if its permitted I'd upload a remix (but basically its just removing the middle wall and thickening the outside a bit)

Adding the spot for the light is genius, this one works SUPER well!

love the built in light idea. i was testing my own version of this and was thinking it would be nice to add a lift on the bottom which slants the whole unit to the top right corner. that way, whenever you drop a card in, it will always shift to the corner and properly align itself. of course, you’d have to add a couple of stopper to keep the phone from sliding off. would make the card drops more consistent though.

Thanks for your feedback. I came up with the lighting idea during our draft session. We used a second phones flashlight to light the scanner properly, which wasn’t that handy 😅 The lifting idea is interesting. It could maybe be solved by some kind of slope 🧐
