I offer my self-designed box here. It is perfect for sewing accessories or angler's equipment, for example. I have designed it in two sizes.

You can print the lid without sewing logos or with them. The print in the photos was made with PLA.

WARNING! You must not scale the box smaller, otherwise the closure and hinge will no longer function! When the print is finished, let the finished print cool down completely. Since the print covers the entire print bed, the print would otherwise warp if you remove it from the bed while it is still warm! Be sure to turn off the AUX fan to avoid any warping.

It is best not to change any of the settings; then the print will also be perfect. I have started several attempts, and the current settings produce a perfect print!

Strength Issue:I was so excited about this box! I printed out the lid and loved the design. Printed the base with supports. Went to attach the lid to the box and was surprised the attaching area did not fit. I smoothed down the "pins" and went to attach the lid to the box and both "pins" broke off. Not the pin itself, but the attaching area. Major flaw.

I am very sorry that there are problems with the hinge. I suspect it is due to the settings or filament. Or perhaps the print temperature? There are several possibilities that could cause this error. In any case, I can well understand the frustration. The pins are, of course, generally a bit sensitive due to their size. Therefore, they can also break quickly

Replying to @Dahle1979 :
I printed new hinges and I glued them to the box. So not all is lost.

I can't say that off the top of my head. You can load the 3MF into the slicer and then use the slicer's measuring function to measure the sizes directly. Regards

I never managed to finish the print, derived from the minion of the box

I am very sorry! It is probably due to the settings or perhaps the filament

It's unfortunate you're not satisfied. I haven't experienced any issues with the closure. What precisely happened? What material did you use for printing? Were any parameters altered? Best regards
