Description
About the Model:
This bicycle bottle cage is based on a rail mechanism. Since I rarely needed a bottle cage, I wanted one that is easy to remove without screws while still looking simple and stylish. This is how I developed this model.
Thanks to the rail system, only the inconspicuous rail needs to be permanently mounted, and the holder can simply be slid onto it as needed. It is designed for bottles with a diameter of 80mm. However, other sizes will also fit.
Print Settings:
Unfortunately, I haven't yet found the optimal settings. Feel free to experiment and provide feedback. So far, I can recommend the following settings:
- 3 Wall Lines
- 20% Infill
- 0.16mm Layer Height
- 50° Support Angle
As mentioned, feel free to experiment!
Assembly:
For assembly on the bicycle, you need two M5 screws. Due to the countersink in the rail, the screw heads must not be higher than 3mm!
