H2D Color Tint Mod

Everyone loves to add a touch of personality to their printers, this simple print allows you to change the color of the light up “Bambu Lab” text on both sides of your shiny new Bambu Lab H2D! Utilizing the slight transparency of single layered filaments we are able to change the color of this text using your favorite color filament. PLA works but to ensure reliability at high temperature its recommended to print out of colored ABS.

Must print at an initial layer of .16mm for the color layer to print properly. Wait an adequate amount of time before removing the print from the heat bed as this can result in the color layer being torn or bent especially on the 2 color version. This will make install a bit harder but will not prevent the model from functioning. Please wash your bed before printing to avoid bed adhesion issues, bed adhesion is user error and should be compensated for before printing, but I am happy to help or assist in any way. Can be printed on either textured or smooth plate, both work fine but smooth is slightly better.

Installation:

The installation and removal of this model is extremely quick and easy. Simple slide the thin single layer color between the glass and light on your side panel. Follow these pictures as a guide.
