Contra Retro Arcade NES Figurines Voxel Art

Contra was one of my favorite Nintendo games as a kid. This was remixed to be used as a topper for a trophy base.

The photographed models were printed in Bambu PETG-HF. Ironing settings should be included in the profile for smoother top surfaces look. Not photographed, but included in the 3mf file for Bambu Studio is a second plate for the red-clad Player 2, otherwise known as Lance. 

Pro Tips

• If you want each half to be thinner, in Bambu Studio on the Prepare tab, move the models lower on the Z-axis. Anything below the plate won't print.
• There is no attachment mechanism — I used some glue and clamped until it was dry. In hindsight, using a textured plate may have been better.
• Default filament profile changes:
  • Ironing Type: Top surfaces
  • Ironing Speed: 25 mm/s
  • Ironing Flow: 30%
  • Wall Generator: Arachne
  • Order of Walls: Outer/Inner
  • Sparse Infill Pattern: Cross Hatch
