Greetings,
I have designed a spool holder. It simply inserts into the recess on the Qidi X-Plus's extruder bracket and works with both 1kg and 2.5kg spools.
It's aesthetically pleasing and significantly more user-friendly than the included spool holder.
I refined the holes using a drill and tap, and screwed the fasteners directly into the plastic.
In my case, it was printed using PETG-CF; standard PLA would likely suffice as well…
Required materials:
5 M4x10 Button Head Screws
1-2 M6x20-35 Countersunk Screws
