Description

Tired of not being able to lift a card off the table? I've seen some complicated versions of a card grabber but they all used multiple parts or purchased suction cups.. I decided to go for a simple 30 minute TPU printed version.. and… it works!

Printed from TPU 95A HF

YOU MUST USE SMOOTH PEI Plate to have an airtight seal.

Directions for use:

Place on card, squeeze the bulb and release and it will grab the card, to release the card, squeeze again. Sometimes if the table is super smooth the suction on from the table will overpower the suction of the print but most tables have a texture.

It printed well and I appreciate the sentiment but the product itself doesn't work. It doesn't pick up cards at all. EDIT: It was printed on a smooth plate, I just took the picture later and it happened to be on the plate that was on the printer (textured).

oh no, I'm sorry. If you read my description, in all caps, I mention that you have to use a smooth plate, not textured. This is required for it to seal off and use suction.

Thanks for the response. I did use a smooth plate but it still doesn't seem to be working for me. I should have noted in my initial comment that the picture was not taken on the original plate. This project was my first lesson on why you should use glue before printing tpu on a smooth plate. LOL

I printed this in Bambu TPU for AMS ("TPU 95A HF") on a PEI Smooth Plate, but it came out really stiff and doesn't pick up the cards. Does it need to be worked a bit, or is there something else that needs to be done to make it pliable?

I only have a textured plate. Do you think it will work? :(
