Splittable Groundpod

This a Groundpod that you can split up in 5 pieces for easier travel. The model consists of a center puck with 3/8" Bolt where you slot 4 pod elements in. Once constructed the total diameter of the pod is +/- 250mm / 10 Inch.

To use this model next to the printed parts you also need:

• A Hex Bolt 3/8" with a length of 1 Inch.
• A 3/8" Hex Nut

Assembly is easy. You put the Bolt into the puck from the bottom and put a nut on the other side. When it is time to use you slot the groundpod elements into the center puck and rotate on your tripod head. I used both ball-heads and a gimbal head succesfully.
