For 1 dozen eggs, in a 4x3 pattern to accommodate the Bambu 256mm build plate size.

Lid decoration makes for a fun 2-color print.

Print Profiles and model Versions

v1:

• This is the original model. The text “EGGS” on the lid was built into the model.

v6 : Editable Text :

• This model no longer has the text on the lid built in. Instead, it uses the Text Object tool in Bambu Studio to let you edit, remove, and reposition the text. See the description in the print profile for detailed instructions on changing the text.

Printing Recommendations:

Supports:

• The print model is already set up with manual support placement.
• If you have some ‘support material for PLA’ I would recommend using that to support the bottom of the egg cups. Set the Z distance to 0, as the slicer recommends. This makes the bottom of the cups come out smooth, making any broken egg messes easy to clean out.
• The model will print successfully without supports, so you can turn them off if you want to reduce print time, but the strands will be loose on the bottom of the cups, so if eggs break and leak into the cups, they will be harder to get clean

Hinge:

• The hinge is created by running a length of standard 1.75mm filament through the hole on one end, then cutting it flush.

Colors:

• The 3mf is set up for 2 colors.
• The print in the picture is using Bambu Labs PLA Marble “White Marble” and PLA Metal ”Iridium Gold Metallic".
• A smooth hologram build plate works well for giving the lid extra style.
