If you like the model, consider giving a boost. It would help out a lot as a new designer.
This is a utility cart handle using wooden dowels and PVC Pipe. I made two versions one for 0.75 or ¾ in. PVC pipe at your local Home Depot with an outside dimension of 1.05 in. or 26mm; I scaled the diameter of the recessed circular insert to 26.5mm. The other version is for 1 inch dowel or 25mm in diameter; I made the diameter of the recessed circular insert to 25.5mm. I use 1.25 in. deck screw but you can use any wood screws that fit into the hole.
*****If you are unsure, please utilize the “Test Plate” first; reduce infill to 1% and all wall loops to 1; and change infill to lightning using only around 9g to test out the fit.*****
Three Plates in this model:
One plate uses ¾ in. (26mm OD) PVC Pipe from HD.
One plate uses 1 in. (25mm OD) wooden dowel from HD.
One plate is test print plate; make sure to reduce infill to 1%; and wall loops to 1; and also change infill to lightning to use the least filament when testing your fit.
*****Please note these are made for tight fit without using super glue or wood glue and insert using heated gun around the area for 6-7 sec. and then insert your dowel/PVC pipe.***** Remember to also print with support since you have an overhang on the inside of the handle
Of course, You can always increase the circle diameter by 0.100mm. if it's too tight or edit the diameter of the recessed circular insert to your desired PVC pipe or wooden dowel.
If you need help with any other sizing for your needs, let me know and I can make them for you. Make sure to measure out your outside diameter in millimeters.
I am still a beginner so I put a lot of time into testing and printing this model so if you can, feel free to give me a boost. Thanks.
