Description

A mezuzah is a Jewish religious object affixed to the doorpost of Jewish homes. It consists of a small case containing a parchment scroll inscribed with two passages from the Torah ("Shema Yisrael" and "V'haya Im Shamoa"). The mezuzah symbolizes Jewish faith and serves as a reminder of God's presence, offering protection and blessings to the home. It is customary to touch the mezuzah when entering or leaving the house as a sign of respect and faith.
