DripGrip – A 3D Printed Umbrella Holder for Backpack Straps
As someone who frequently travels, whether for outings, city explorations, or hikes, I’ve always been frustrated by carrying an umbrella unnecessarily. And of course, if I put it in my backpack, it sticks out or shifts around—a nightmare 🤐.
That’s why I created DripGrip—a practical, lightweight, 3D-printed holder that allows you to securely attach your umbrella directly to your backpack strap. No more hand-holding or worrying about where to put it: it’s always there, ready for rain, while you have both hands free.
Minimalist, durable, and incredibly easy to both print and use: you’ll assemble it in an instant and forget it’s even there.
To secure it, you only need two 4x12 mm screws and two M4 nuts—easily sourced and installed in seconds.
Available in two sizes:
- Large: 16 mm diameter hole
- Medium: 12 mm diameter hole
Choose the size that best fits your umbrella handle and you’re ready to go.
If you’re always on the move and tired of being hampered by an umbrella… DripGrip is the solution.
