Description

This is a remix combining the Design Moon Lamp (original model) and the Wavy Stand (original model) with refined print settings and a unique textured finish.

Key Features:

Moon Lamp: Designed for a standard E27 lamp socket, the moon is printed at 0.2mm layer height with 100% infill, ensuring a smooth, solid structure. It requires no supports or brim and prints in about 30 hours.

 

Adapter: The adapter secures the moon lamp to the socket and is printed at 0.16mm layer height, with 3 wall loops and 30% gyroid infill for strength. It also prints without supports or brim.

 

Wavy Stand with Fuzzy Texture: The stand features an all-around fuzzy skin effect, including the top surface, giving it a distinctive, organic look. Settings used:

  • Fuzzy skin: All walls
  • Fuzzy skin point distance: 0.5
  • Fuzzy skin thickness: 0.5
  • Top surface pattern: Hilbert Curve
  • Top surface flow ratio: 1.7

 

Print Settings:

  • Material: PLA
  • Layer Height: 0.2mm (moon & stand), 0.16mm (adapter)
  • Wall Loops: 2 (moon & stand), 3 (adapter)
  • Infill Density: 100% (moon), 30% (adapter), 15% (stand)
  • Infill Pattern: Rectilinear (moon), Gyroid (adapter & stand)
  • Supports Needed: Only the stand requires support.

Once printed, assembly is straightforward—simply insert a standard E27 lamp socket and bulb (non-printed parts) into the adapter, and then lock the adapter into the moon's base.
