Description

Overview:

I made this to store my old Intel desktop CPUs after a model I found didn't have quite enough space for the small “nubs” on the back of some of them. This model uses a more open design that allows for some variation in thickness, while still holding the CPUs pretty firmly.

There are several options to choose from - the one I made for myself holds 16 CPUs in one line. This version has either a “blank” version, or leaves a space to glue in a small label plate (this model is also included)

In short, if you want the most compact and basic version, use the “blank” 16 CPU holder.

Otherwise, just for fun I made a 32 and 64 CPU version. I haven't tested these, but they're the exact same as the 16, but copied and merged.

Printing Instructions:

Layer Height: 0.12mm

Infill: 100%

Brim: Not needed in my case

Supports: Only for the 16 version that uses the label insert. Even then you could probably leave them off, but I used default supports just to make sure it stayed close to spec.
