Description
TBG-7V Thermobaric Warhead:
The TBG-7V is a specialized thermobaric warhead designed for use with the Russian RPG-7 family of rocket-propelled grenade launchers. Developed to enhance anti-personnel and anti-structural capabilities in confined environments, this warhead leverages thermobaric technology to deliver devastating effects against fortified positions, enclosed spaces, and soft-skinned targets.
Key Features:
- Thermobaric Mechanism: Unlike conventional high-explosive (HE) warheads, the TBG-7V utilizes a fuel-air explosive (FAE) principle. Upon detonation, it disperses a volatile aerosol cloud of combustible fuel, which is then ignited to create a sustained high-temperature blast wave (up to 2,500–3,000°C) and extreme overpressure. This effect is particularly lethal in bunkers, tunnels, or urban structures, where the blast wave propagates through openings and causes catastrophic internal damage.
- Payload: The warhead contains a mix of metallic fuel additives (e.g., aluminum or magnesium) and a high-energy explosive charge, optimized to maximize both blast radius and duration.
- Compatibility: Fitted with a standard PG-7V propellant booster, it maintains compatibility with RPG-7 launchers, ensuring ease of deployment for infantry units.
- Effective Range: Engages targets at distances up to 200 meters, with a lethal radius of approximately 10 meters in open terrain (expanding significantly in enclosed spaces).

This model features a modular design composed of four slide-fit parts, allowing for easy assembly. It is compatible with the tail fins of other warheads I have designed, ensuring seamless integration and interchangeability within existing systems.
