Description

I lost one of the thumb screws to the tri-fold bed cover on my truck. Bought a 5/16 18 x 1' SHCS and printed a handle to mount it to. A few drops of epoxy and let it dry. Quick 21 minute print. No fuss, no muss. If you need it longer, get a longer screw. Shorter, get a shorter screw. Crazy glue did NOT work as the screw was SS. 5 minute epoxy was what worked! I printed this in PETG for obvious reasons. Nylon would probably work better but PETG was already loaded so I am trying that first. I don't know about longevity at this point as I had a deer t-bone my truck two days after the install and it is at the body shop. I will update later if I have problems but I don't anticipate any as I usually use PETG without problems in my truck. I upped walls to 5 and infill to 25 for strength.
