Hand Cultivator - Garden Fork - Gardening Tool

A hand cultivator for breaking up and aerating soil for planting seeds or transplants in the garden. Designed for digging effectively through dirt and to be strong enough for normal use.

There are three strength options included. The “Strong” version features five wall loops with 25% density 3D honeycomb infill. I have found this to be strong enough to hold up to digging through soil compacted over winter. The “Lightweight” version uses less filament and is suitable for digging through loose soil. It is 15% density 3D honeycomb infill with three wall loops. The “Solid Infill” is 100% density rectilinear infill and will have the highest strength and durability but uses the most filament. 

Strength and durability can be increased by printing in PLA+ or PETG, but this model was designed to be fully usable printed in basic or matte PLA. I would recommend to avoid using PLA Silk as it offers lower structural integrity. 

If you happen to break it during use, please let me know! I'm interested in designing the best tools possible to make with a 3D printer. I lack the ability to do large scale product testing on my own, so any data that you can share with me with regards to weaknesses or limitations that you experience are incredibly valuable to continually improving the quality that I can offer. Information such as the model printed, the filament used, and how the item failed is deeply appreciated.
