Description

Made this for the wife for mothers day and thought I would share, 47min print on my P1S. Hope you enjoy. Prints flat and then folds open. Comment if you would like an American version!

Would like an American version saying "Mommy" instead of "Mummy", and instead of "Snack?" ~ "I'm Hungry" (and just nit picking but it should be "Happy Mother's Day") How well does the spine bend? or is it pretty much just one or two bends then snaps (not deterring me, just wondering) ~ for those wondering the spine bending is fairly robust, but would break after a couple of dozen times bending back-and-forth. Edit: Too late, made my own and uploaded it for ya

Printed well at 140%. However, it appears the model has the folding spine gap backwards of what it should be which prevents the card from being folded completely flat with the design showing on the outside front cover.

Mine is based off the original design, my understanding/expectation is that is should only fold to about a 60 degrees, not fully flat?

I wasn't too sure what to expect either since it was the first card I've printed, but then I printed a different card and it had the gap along the bending line on the opposite side of the card which allowed it to fold completely flat with the design on the outside (I attached the pic as example). Either way, I loved the card/design, it's just something I thought I'd mention.

Interesting, good to know, I only take credit for the wording change. The only drawback to the opposite side bend is that the face down side is usually the nicest looking and it might be more difficult to print reversed face down but definitely much better function.

haha, I name it small card for a reason, personally I printed a second one that I'm actually giving her at 175%. (fills a P1S plate), Its a little more reasonable size and legibility wise.

I printed this for my mom yesterday for her birthday and just covered up the Mother’s Day and I wrote B-day with a piece of paper. I know you made a Father’s Day one but would you be able to make one for birthdays. I would love to print it for my dads birthday on April 17th. it’s fine if you can ‘t I’m just curious
