Description

The Polaris Quattro Sport pool cleaner is a handy device to have in your pool, but the drive gears that handle the automatic reversing are relatively weak and prone to getting stripped.

When that happens you're stuck paying $150 for a replacement gearbox, when all you actually need are a couple of gears!

I've replicated the gears here. You'll want to use a self-lubricating filament for these so that the run smoothly, I found that Polymaker PolyMide COPA works very well. With these replacement gears in place my pool cleaner ran smoothly for months!

Can't find Polymax COPA .. but Polymaker COPA.

Same problem here, have a Polaris Quattro F4TR, failed after ~12mo...works out to ~$116/mo for this POS, when driving straight would turn hard right, was slow, etc. Looks like exactly same gears used, found this over on reddit, going to try your models out. Thank you very much for posting these.
