I designed this as a first testprint of my H2D!
The massage roller combines harder Materials as a core and bearing and softer, flexible TPU as outer material to make it more comfortable to use!
Design:
I designed the TPU and Hard material parts so they bond together nicely and won't come apart.
Printing Instructions:
I printed the TPU parts sequentially (Handle + Roller). So there is less stringing. But if your TPU is really dry and you don't have problems with that you can print all parts at once.
Don't moove the individual parts of the roller! Or the assembly will be defect! Only moove them all at once or merge them together before mooving them to annother location.
You can change the hardness/softness of the TPU parts by increasing/reducinc the infill or choose differend hard TPU:
Improoving the performance:
You can eather print the 2 pieces in the middle of the Roller with different hard materials to reduce friction or you can add a drop of oil so there is no real friction between the 2 plastic parts of the bearing.
I added a funnel inside the Roller as you can see in the pictures below.
