Description
I have modeled nine common diamond cuts.
They are: 1 Round Brilliant, 2 Oval, 3 Pear/Teardrop, 4 Marquise/Emerald/Boat, 5 Heart, 6 Trillion, 7 Cushion/Pillow, 8 Emerald, 9 Princess.
When modeling, I referenced the size ratios of real diamonds of various shapes. While I could not perfectly replicate every facet and detail of real diamonds, I have striven for accuracy. For safety reasons, I have removed the pointed tips from the bottom of each diamond.
Each diamond measures approximately 30*30*20mm and can be scaled as needed. Larger diamonds will exhibit more clearly defined facets.
Because I used a textured PEI build plate, the top surface of the diamonds is not perfectly smooth. A smooth build plate would yield better results. Experiment with different filament colors for varied results.
