Queen mating / Queen rearing hive.

 

Contains everything you need to raise bee queens.

 

Hive with 5 frames, entrance that can be set in different positions for: transport, or just let worker bees out, Small opening or large opening.

In addition, you can add another box above to increase it with more space (5 frames/box) if you do not have time to move the queen or just want to keep the queen with several bees and build her up before putting her in a larger hive. You can add as many boxes as you want or need.

 

Feed box that holds 6 dl (MAX 7 dl) of liquid sugar solution.

 

Some various styles of frames are in the file, one that has a plastic hexagon pattern, and one that is more for letting the bees build themselves. 
Then the one I prefer the most where you put in your own beeswax.

 

Frame holder that holds a small frame in a larger one to add to a large hive, Good if there is a lot of brood or honey that you want the queen to be able to use

Queen Excluder if you need it.

Also slightly different legs so the hive comes up a little above the ground so that the ventilation works like it should.

A little landing track that can easily "click" into place, feel free to change the color of the hive opening or landing tracks so that the newly mated queen finds home more easily.

 

 

Parts colored with purple color are preferable in PETG as they are exposed to sunlight. White color can be made in PLA.
