Slotfinity: A Modular Tooling Tray System

Slotfinity is a Gridfinity-compatible tooling tray system designed for organizing precision cutting tools like drills, reamers, taps, dies, endmills, and more. Unlike traditional Gridfinity bins, Slotfinity is meant to utilize the entire drawer space, eliminating the typical radiused corners and clearances for a seamless, efficient layout. It is endlessly adjustable and changeable as you add more tooling—no need to reprint entire organizers when your storage needs evolve.

Tips:

🔹 Printer Size: Two profiles are available for each slot width (1/2U, 3/4U, 1U, 1-1/2U, 2U, and 3U):

• Standard – Includes all possible sizes up to 6 units wide by 5 units deep. These will fit on any Bambu printer (excluding the larger sizes on the A1 Mini).
• H2 Series – Includes all sizes above 6x5 up to 8x7. These will only fit on the H2 Series printers.

🔹 Divider Options: Three profiles are available:

• Brimmed Dividers – More reliable prints, but require extra cleanup.
• Non-Brimmed Dividers – Cleaner prints, but require close monitoring in the first 30 minutes. If a divider fails, skip object can be used to continue printing.
• Flat Dividers – Without the jog for adding printed text, but makes it harder to read the labels.

🔹 Labeling: A fine-tip white paint pen works great for labeling the dividers, or you can use a laser engraver if available. You can also add printed text to the flat dividers if you choose. 

🔹 Fit Adjustment: Filament choice may affect fit—scaling dividers up or down by ~1% may improve results.
