Enhanced Tube Squeezer – Locking Mechanism Edition

An improved tube squeezer featuring a locking mechanism that prevents the key from rolling back during use. The design allows maximizes content extraction from toothpaste tubes, creams, gels and other soft-laminate packaging.

Compatibility

• Designed for common toothpaste formats up to ≤55 mm tube width
• Works with most standard toothpaste and cosmetic tubes in this size range
• Wider formats (~55–70 mm) are available on my profile in the pinned “Squeezers” collection.
Cosmetic tube squeezer (~95 mm) is available on my profile in the pinned “Squeezers” collection.

(If you're not sure, measure the flat width at the end of the tube.)

 

 

 

 Key Features

✓ Locking mechanism prevents unintentional back-rolling
✓ Secure front slot holds the rolled tube firmly
✓ Ergonomic shape for smooth squeezing
✓ Key printed flat for increased durability and accurate tooth engagement

Walls: 3
Top/Bottom: 5
Infill: 25% Grid (Key: 25% Gyroid)
Material: PLA (PETG & ABS also compatible)

(don't ushe pla silk!)
Supports: Not required
Recommended layer height: 0.2 mm

Assembly Instructions

  1. Choose the key with the appropriate slot width for your tube.
  2. Insert the end of the toothpaste tube sideways into the slot of the key.
    • If the tube feels loose, you can fold the tube end flat before inserting it.
  3. Slide the key together with the tube through the round opening and the squeezing jaws.
  4. Align the hex-shaped end of the key with the hexagonal socket in the gear, then push it in fully.
  5. Rotate the key to start squeezing.

🔄 Update (November 2, 2025)

Based on community feedback regarding tight fit issues, additional keys with wider slots have been added. Each variant is available on a separate build plate for convenience.

A new print profile with the Wave pattern surface texture has been added.
This update does not affect dimensions or functionality.

 

🔄 Update (January 10, 2026)

A technical update has been introduced to improve long-term reliability of the mechanism.

• Added an internal locking feature to prevent the key from slipping out during use.
• Reinforced the gear housing wall to improve gear retention and reduce the risk of the gear being pushed out under load.
• Added a new print profile with Fuzzy Skin surface texture (visual only).

This update improves durability and mechanical stability during extended use.
