Lightweight Glider

The Lightweight Glider is an ultralight, sleek glider with a focus on aerodynamics, minimal material usage, and a clean shape. Designed for outdoor flights in calm weather—whether for testing, optimization, or simply for elegant gliding.
 

Its minimalist design makes the model ideal for fast printing, efficient performance, and as a basis for custom modifications. The wing geometry is designed for gliding performance and flight stability during manual release.

Usage & Tips: 

After printing, be sure to wait until the print bed has completely cooled—the model is very light and fragile. Afterward, carefully remove it with a spatula or your fingers to avoid breakage.

At the very rear of the aircraft are two small flaps. These are designed to be bent slightly upwards (the picture shows this more clearly). This allows you to specifically influence the flight behavior:
 

Bend slightly upwards → glider climbs briefly and then glides for a longer time.
