Description

Dashboard Drifter – Floating X-Wing Model

There’s a disturbance in the dashboard.

Join the ranks of the Rebellion with the X-Wing Dashboard Drifter — a spinning starfighter model engineered for low-friction flight across the galaxy of your car interior. Compact, iconic, and full of attitude, this miniature spacecraft brings interstellar motion and heroic energy to every commute.

What You’ll Need:

  • 1× MR84 bearing (4×8×3 mm)
  • A piece of double-sided 3M tape for secure mounting

Important Safety Notes:

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat — hyperspace engines don’t like it either.
  • In the event of a sudden stop or impact, the model could become a projectile. Mount responsibly.

This model honors science fiction, creativity, and imagination — it is not affiliated with or endorsing real-world conflict or violence.

Explore the full Dashboard Drifter fleet — from tanks and batmobiles to futuristic racers and cosmic cruisers. There’s always a new ship ready for launch.

Printed in PETG and they came out a little rough but that would be my fault for not slowing down the print speed. Still look amazing and alot of detail. Can't wait to get the bearings and try them out

absolutely great print, used multiples of these for a star wars space battle diorama.

Time to start focusing on the X-wing rather than the road! But seriously this is a pretty cool model and interesting idea, well done!

even with a ball bearing in the hole, it does not stay in and is very unbalanced. falls out all the time.

The model is designed so that the ball bearing fits tightly both in the stand and on the object. If it’s falling out or feels unbalanced, it’s most likely due to your printer being improperly calibrated. Sounds like your dimensional accuracy is off. This isn’t an issue with the design.

I printed this twice and it doesn't work. It's not balanced enough to stay on the stand and keeps falling off.

You require a ball bearing between the stand and the model
