Dewalt bit holders for 700/800/900 model drills

These are a pair of sleek contoured bit holders designed to be universal for Dewalt 20V drill models while looking like they came with the drill.  They fit on all the 700, 800, and 900 drills I could get my hands on as the belt clip design is very similar between them, which is how these attach.  You will need M3 screws (8-12mm, I use 10mm). 

I like to print these in ASA for ruggedness but any filament will work.  The closest filament to Dewalt Yellow that I've found is Eryone Mango PLA if you want to go in that direction, personally I think black looks best.  You will need tree supports for the nubs and screw hole, and the included profile has a brim enabled.

If you have a DCD800, DCD805, DCD999, or DCD1007, this design is a better and tighter fit due to some uniqueness on the right side, though this one will work too.

Screws

Your regular M3 screws of all kinds will protrude into the upper bit storage area a bit, it can still hold a bit but it has to be in front of or behind the screw head.  This is a bit of a compromise to keep the model sleek, it was either this or countersink the screws which meant the bit holder would make the drill feel even wider.

However, you can solve this problem entirely with ultra flat headed M3 head screws.  Unfortunately Maker's Supply does not offer these yet, but they are pretty inexpensive on Ali (especially in multi-screw kits) and not bad on Amazon (for US users).  It's a bit of a pain to search for them so I gathered some Amazon listings.  Prices can change depending on availability so check out a few:
