Description

Based off of a tool from Stu-Mac. instead of using the leveraged tools, which risk marring the bridge itself, this clamps on to the pin head from above. Slide the washer down, and pull.

I designed the main body to be printed in TPU, PETG may work but I wouldn't try PLA, due to the print orientation and the direction of flex I imagine it would break immediately.

The T-Bar and the Washer are fine in PLA or PETG, and the washer will also work in TPU. Mine is 95A TPU here, 50% infill, gyroid, 3 perimeters. The idea is the TPU will not mark the pin or the bridge, and will conform better to different size pin heads, as well as compress with more pressure when the washer is applied.

For the PLA parts, I generally use 3 perimeters and 15% gyroid infill. Print them in the provided orientation, just make sure your TPU is nice and dry.

These tools are designed with professional luthiers in mind, and especially with consideration towards delicate instruments; of course, I take no credit for the invention.
