  • Piezoelectric igniter x 1:

Description

Case for Piezoelectric Igniter

This is a case for the piezoelectric igniter found in most common lighters in order to make it easier to hold and use. It can be used to create small sparks or deliver small electric shocks. The voltage generated is high, but the current is very low, so it's not dangerous.

Poor man's taser

Due to the large amount of such igniters existing, the tolerances might not match and the igniter might not fit or it might not click. If your igniter does not fit or click correctly, please send clear photos, and I will update the design.

How to get an igniter

You can extract the piezo igniter from any lighter with a button (NOT flint wheel). Be very careful when disassembling a lighter as the gas reservoir can explode if punctured or damaged. I am not responsible for any damages.

  • Carefully remove the plastic button and casing
  • Extract the igniter

  • You can watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdHXke1H-FQ
  • Alternatively, you can find piezoelectric igniters available for purchase in online stores like AliExpress or other electronics stores.

Assembly

  1. Insert the igniter with the metal part down into the main body
  2. Then, push the cap on top. The cap is pressure fit, so you have to push harder depending on the strength of the plastic you used.
