Description

I got tired of going to the alignment shop multiple times a year with my project cars and then I found a cool model that could help with that. It was out-dated and needed a few adjustment before I got it to work, so I re-engineered the whole thing from scratch.

It essentially helps with your toe being out and causing excessive wear to your tyres. It ain't perfect, but you'll get it enough into the ballpark to not worry about your tyres wearing out.

I added almost everything to a separate build plate so you won't miss crucial parts, but I suggest printing out all 4 versions the wheel clamp first > then trying them on the car and deciding what version do you need.

Here's a list of all the printed parts you need just in case:

  • 2x wheel centers
  • 6x wheel spacers
  • 2x tape measure holders (left)
  • 2x tape measure holders (right)
  • 4x tape end holders
  • 6x wheel clamps

Here's a list of hardware you'll need:

  • 4x 40cm M8 threaded rod
  • 2x 25cm M8 threaded rod
  • 20x M8 nuts
  • 6x M4 bolts (min 10mm, can be longer, it doesn't matter)

For the wheel clamps I suggest you to print all 4 versions (A, B, C, D) and then test them out on your specific wheel to see how they fit. They go on like this with M4 bolts:
