Description
This project provides 3D printable files to create a baroque trumpet replica, designed for use with standard metal tubing. The design is intended to be functional, aiming for a Bb tuning using common materials.
The model utilizes metal piping with a 14mm inner diameter and 16mm outer diameter (1mm wall thickness). The tubing lengths are divided into two 65cm sections and one 56cm section, which are the lengths calculated for the Bb tuning.
Print the following parts:
- Bell
- Two loops
- Shank
- Hand brace (optional, but recommended for stability)
- 2x vertical braces (optional, but recommended for stability)
- 2x horizontal braces (optional, but recommended for stability)
The shank is designed to accept standard trumpet mouthpieces, allowing for customization. If you do not have a mouthpiece, you can 3D print one, there are many great models on Makerworld.
