Description

This is a simple support frame to hold an Adafruit Pybadge (https://www.adafruit.com/product/4200 ) and Adafruit MLX90640 thermal sensor breakout (https://www.adafruit.com/product/4407 ), so you can hold the Pybadge and point the camera at things without having to awkwardly handle both boards by themselves.  Adafruit have already published a much nicer enclosure for these two items (https://learn.adafruit.com/pybadge-thermal-camera-case ) but this frame is minimalist and takes up much less space.

You can connect the two boards with the Stemma connection and no soldering is required.   It has space to fit a small battery under the frame so you can do thermal imaging unencumbered by a usb cable.  A bunch of ports and connectors on the pybadge are blocked by this frame but if you're using it has a thermal camera like me, everything you need access to is available.

I joined the pybadge and the MLX90640 to the frame with M2.5 screws and nuts through the mounting holes.
