Corcelain Kraken Cup - No Supports

An octopus base for the Corcelain square cup. It has functional features like a handle, a holder (e.g. for a spoon), and a hook (e.g. for a tea bag). It can be used as a mug, planter, candy dish, or decor. The Corcelain cup screws onto the base. If you don't have a Corcelain square cup, you can print the design here.

If there is interest in this design, I may be able to provide other bases (e.g. flat base, different sizes, to hold standard planters, drain holes, etc). Please let me know if you'd like to see something specific.

No Supports Needed!

You may see a “floating regions/cantilever” warning when you slice this print. This is because of the overhanging tentacles. You should not need to enable supports, as the print supports itself and will bridge the gaps. You might want to run an overhang test (like this one) to make sure your printer is dialed in and able to handle the overhangs.

Multicolour Eyes

This is a mono-colour print by default, but there is a plate with optional flat pupil pieces that can be glued into the eyes, if you'd like them to be a different colour. The eyes are recessed, so they could also be filled with resin or painted.
