Description

Just a basic plant label 15mm wide by 150mm long. Rounded ‘pointy end’ to help avoid damaging bulbs, tubers etc.

Customise with text in Bambu Studio or print plain to write your plant name on them with a marker pen.

I use Posca acrylic paint pens on my plant labels which lasts really well, or Sharpie markers, they can then be cleaned off at the end of the year with IPA ready to be used again the following year.

If printing plain to write on, I suggest using a smooth build plate or ironing the top surface. (Print profile includes ironing).

I made the text a little too high but user error and will change in future ones or even recess the text and make the stick thicker. They came out great though!

When I originally made and posted these I went with PETG since they are for outdoors, however I also made some in PLA to see how they held up over the year, and while I've no idea ultimately how long they will last, as far as I can tell the PLA ones appear to me to have held up perfectly fine so far, so I've just uploaded some print profiles in PLA

Replying to @BeardieBaz :
Thanks. I was uncertain if my P1S would print this in PLA if it was set up for PETG. I only use my labels for starting plants so am not worried about elements of nature.

These came out well. Changed the text to .24mm line widths (all 5 settings in Bambu Studio) and it worked well with just a 0.4mm nozzle.

Upgraded to 0.2mm nozzle, and are even better!
