Description
This clock is inspired by Formula 1 car wheels and is designed for all fans of this sport. To make time reading more intuitive, the wheel rim has been divided into 12 spokes, each representing an hour on the dial
Four print profiles are available for the Formula 1 wheel-shaped clock
- MakerWorld Mechanism Profile: compatible with the clock mechanism provided by MakerWorld
- MakerWorld Mechanism Profile print without AMS: This profile is ideal for those printing without AMS: the printer will automatically pause at layer 336 of the tire, allowing for manual color change. Compatible only with the clock mechanism provided by MakerWorld
- Long-Shaft Mechanism Profile (31mm): designed for a 31 mm long-shaft mechanism (here are the links where I purchased mine). This profile allowed me to model the inside of the wheel with greater freedom, thus achieving more depth and realism
- Long-Shaft Mechanism Profile (31mm) print without AMS: This profile is ideal for those printing without AMS: the printer will automatically pause at layer 336 of the tire, allowing for manual color change. Compatible only with the 31 mm long-shaft mechanism (here are the links where I purchased mine). This profile allowed me to model the inside of the wheel with greater freedom, thus achieving more depth and realism

Guide on how to assemble your Formula 1 clock
01 - Select one of the four wheel print profiles based on the clock mechanism you use or your preferences
02 - The project is divided into print plates, each dedicated to a specific component: First plate – Slick Tire (Hard / Medium / Soft)
The tire is the same for all three compounds. Simply change the filament color of the text:
- Hard → white
- Medium → yellow
- Soft → red
03 - Second plate – Intermediate Tire. The text color is already set
04 - Third plate – Full Wet Tire. Again, the text color is already set
05 - Fourth plate – Rim
06 - Fifth plate – Hands
The hands were designed in the same color as the text on the tire for a consistent match, but you are free to choose the color you prefer

- Depth: 67 mm
Easy to assemble, without the need for additional glue or screws

Update on 02/05/2026
- The tire design has been updated to reflect the official Formula 1 tire design for the 2026 season.
- Two new compound variants have been added: Intermediate and Full Wet. The entire range of compounds is now available, so you can print the one you prefer.
- The rim design has been slightly revised with minor adjustments to improve its aesthetics and design balance.
- Updated the type of seam on the tire: from random to aligned. The small imperfections previously visible have been eliminated, and the seam is now almost imperceptible.
- Small optimizations have been made to the print settings to improve final quality.
