Wire Reel Holder for Coil Building
This practical wire reel holder was specifically designed for winding wire in coil building. With space for up to two large reels or eight small reels, it offers great flexibility for various wire types and thicknesses.
Features:
- Stable Stand: The wide base plate ensures a firm hold on the work surface where it can also be secured with a screw clamp if necessary.
- Easy Reel Change: Thanks to removable axles, the reels can be quickly exchanged.
- Individually Printable: All parts can be easily produced with a standard 3D printer and commonly available filaments such as PLA+.
- Adjustable Screws: The side screws securely fix the axles and ensure a stable hold of the wire reels.
Print Settings:
- Material: PLA+ recommended for maximum stability. Other materials can also be used.
- Layer Height: 0.2 mm for a balanced ratio between detail accuracy and print time.
- Infill: 15-30% for high stability.
- Supports: Not required.
Assembly:
- Print all parts according to the STL files.
- Insert the axles through the prepared openings and insert the wire reels. Secure the upper support with plastic adhesive or superglue.
- Secure the axles with the screws.
