Really like the look of this. Just printed 1 for now, will print some more. Any thoughts on how to get the first egg a different color so it stands out more from the body?

You could fill the first egg color in slicer, only reason i made the same color was because it will take a lot long to print and more waste, but it can be done. Another option of course it you could hand paint it. Acrylic pens are amazing as so easy to use and very cheap.

Ok, thanks for the idea. Will give it a try, running A1 with AMS lite and report back.

try this and select the bottom egg, check that its coloured it all and not missed any bits. Its a seperate mesh so should work

if you increase the size of these, I suggest increasing walls and infill.

i painted the bottom egg yellow. Wish there was a version for 3 different egg colors. but love it overall!

it is possible to change the bottom eg colour in bambu slicer but it will use up more filament and require AMS for colour changing. Thank you for sharing your print

Blew the model to 150% and the egg stack stick broke off before I could even print the two stackable egg pieces. I’ll try to print it with a higher infill next time.

I've not tested at 150%, like you say, try upping the infill. the stick works at 100% so im surprised it snaps when lager. To repair that you could just glue the eggs on, so I'm hoping its not a complete fail 🙏

I think I will glue the eggs on. She’s too cute to not do that. I have the colors picked out and everything.

Fingers crossed a bit of glue works, there's no exposed holes so should be fine

1 Mesh - Single Colour Print
Printed Flawlessly. Like others, I hand painted ours with acrylic markers ;) For those that choose to go this route (including hand painting) … there are some super tight spaces to get that paint! Printed on a P1S as single color. Chose against using the AMS to save a ton of time and waste!

Then I'd rather print it longer before I apply the brush 😎

Easter decoration my better half is delighted. I only had problems with the eggs detaching from the bed. I then added support and everything was fine

Maybe I'll add a brim to the eggs. I have a cool plate so never get bed issues anymore

Also you need to snap off that support at the bottom on the eggs

Scaled the rabbits, they were a bit too small for me. A nice print, thanks for sharing. Printed again, but this time colored the bottom egg as well
