Description

This is a soda can chiller for 12 fl oz (355ml) soda (pop) cans

You will need 2 X M3 x 20 mm screws to attach the lid

You fit can coaster that is printed from tpu on the bottom of the can.

Then insert it into the adapter that is printed from Petg

then the fit into the box is a little tight so you may have to manipulate it in there

once its in you insert the handle

pour ice into the box……after the can is in it

close the lid and spin for 90 secs

So i found that if i printed the can receiving bottom part that grabs the can and spins it at 93.97% scale from the original, and then print the rest as original size, things work better, and this grips a standard 12oz can US enough to spin it well. I also made a small modification to the spinner part whereby instead of receiving the crank it can instead receive the standard bambu TT motor linked here - https://us.store.bambulab.com/products/tt-motor-dc5v-59rpm-ccw-single-axis - motor pin. (and i'm sure most other double D type motor heads as this one has, which is a rectangle but the short sides bulged out / curved... which is the same as taking a standard diameter circle and cutting off the top 1/4 and bottom 1/4 etc) .. .works quite well. The piece that goes into the motor could actually spin anything with that same size hexagon etc of course. Thanks to the original maker for this - excellent work even with the resize for 12oz cans. Thank you sir.

Great model - I made an adaption to the part the crank went into so you can use the Bambu TT Motor instead as well

Replying to @Allanlow21 :
you bet - its working beautifully on my end and giving a room temp soda as cold as ice in about 90 seconds,… you can file this one under the win column in my opinion! Thanks again!

Haven't printed yet... but mostly because I would use this for 16oz energy drink cans. Can anyone point me to a version of the box that would fit a 16oz can?
