Notes before printing:

The uploaded slicing files are based on a 0.4mm nozzle and TPU90A. If you intend to use a different nozzle diameter (e.g., 0.6mm or 0.8mm) for printing, please reset the line width of all parts in the slicing files to default values beforehand, otherwise errors may occur (however, using 0.6mm or 0.8mm nozzles for TPU90A is not recommended, as this will make the shoes overly rigid, You may opt for softer materials such as TPU85A). Before printing with TPU90A, ensure you have read the wiki.

Bubbleberry is a round-toe casual shoe designed for both indoor comfort and outdoor style. Its richly textured design and plush cushioning make it a must-have fashion staple for laid-back outfits. Zen-inspired patterns combined with Crosszag filling that rivals the softness of woven fabric allow beauty and comfort to intertwine seamlessly on this 3D-printed masterpiece. Featuring a slip-on design without laces, the Bubbleberry offers instant wearability. Customize the model to match your foot shape, creating footwear that feels tailor-made for you. Printed with TPU90A material, it's compatible with BambuLab printers from the H2D to X/P series. Personalize your pair through Bambu Studio by adding signatures, text, or icons, transforming it into a truly unique, one-of-a-kind wearable art piece crafted exclusively for you.

Usage Scenarios

✅👟🚶🏙️  Suitable for walking or jogging indoors, on urban roads, sports fields, or in outdoor areas with mild terrain undulations.

😬⛰️🏃💨 Also suitable for long-distance walks on rugged terrain, or for medium-intensity running and jumping training.

Sizing Guide

The table below lists foot length, width, and corresponding scaling ratios for European shoe sizes. For X/P/A-series printers (excluding A1 mini), the maximum printable size is EU 43.2 (foot length: 271.62 mm). If your foot width exceeds or falls below the standard width for your size, adjust the model’s width scaling individually after uniformly scaling it to match your foot length.

For Example: If your foot length is 264 mm (EU 42), scale the model to 97.67%. If your foot width measures 97 mm (above the standard 95.4 mm), adjust the width scaling to 97 ÷ 95.4 × 97.67% = 99.3%. Generally, uniform scaling based on size accommodates most foot shapes.

Recommended Filament & Printing Tips

Use Bambu Lab TPU 90A 🟦🟥⬛⬜ for optimal print quality and smooth printing, especially with gradient-color filaments (Frozen🟦&Blaze🟥). 

To achieve full gradient effects, print both shoes on a single build plate.

Key TPU 90A Tips: Preheat filament (even fresh spools) and use a sealed drying box during printing. Refer to Wiki for details.

 

The Magic Behind Comfort

Beneath its sleek and streamlined exterior, Bubbleberry features a sophisticated compartmentalized filling structure. These distinct compartments correspond to various functional components of a modern shoe: a flexible midsole, a wear-resistant and bend-resistant outsole, a skin-friendly and breathable upper, and an adaptable collar. Leveraging Bambu Studio's cross-zag filling texture—specifically optimized for TPU footwear applications using a zigzag-based algorithm—I designed the Bubble Berry with varying filling densities, wall layer counts, and line widths across different zones to achieve these multifunctional structural requirements.

Note: During printing, you may observe spaghetti-like filling patterns in areas with narrow line widths. This is not indicative of a print failure.

Reliability

Bubbleberry undergoes and passes a series of reliability tests, including wetp&dry slip resistance tests, flex test, hardness test, peel test and abrasion resistance test.
