It really took me several hours... Give me a boost if you like the project!   Thanks! ^_^

Enhance your Pwnagotchi/BjornCyberViking experience with the Slimagotchi_Pebble case,
specially designed with style to house your digital companion.

RaspberryPi Zero and 2.17" e-Paper screen case.
I built this case from scratch, with a caliper in hand and a raspberry board for the measurements.
Everything was made adhering to the smallest detail.
Above all, I built this case keeping the display aligned centrally. I hate the display off-center compared to the entire case, Symmetry is important!

Case Detail

  • Extremely slim version
  • Aesthetically spatial !
  • Practical status light
  • OneButton” for  Mode_change / Reset / PowerOff !
  • Ventilation grille on the back
  • Magnetic closure
  • Comfortable "walking" strap (optional)

---------------------------

Case Dimensions:
83.5 x 45 x 14 mm

---------------------------

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ATTENTION!!
Compatible ONLY with slimagotchi:
- RaspberryPi Zero W (version 1 or 2)
- Waveshare eInk 2.13” Display (without white SPI connector)

You can follow this simple video to remove this connector and make your own slim version.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlTzREaGmII

Or follow the official project page.

N.B. Only 6 pins to solder +2 power pins (5v and GND) are needed.
You don't need to solder all the GPIO pins!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Materials needed:
- 4x neodymium magnets ⌀4mm x 2mm [CA001]
- 1x 50mm cable [IC005]
- 1x 6x6x7 button (Tactil Push Button Switch)
- 1x 15-16mm of transparent filament ⌀1.75
- 1x Fabric cord (about 30cm) [optional]

Assembly:
1) Insert the 4 magnets, paying attention to the polarity. 1 Drop of glue is recommended.
2) Solder one end of the cable to the 2 NO pins of the button, and isolate them.
3) Solder "from below" the other end to the RPI0 (GND - GPIO3)
4) Place the switch in position, cutting off the remaining 2 unnecessary pins.
5) Dissipate the excess cable as shown in the figure.
6) Place the screen (slimagotchchi) in the UP print and the RPI0 board in the Bottom print.
7) Insert the 1.75 Transparent filament piece into the hole.
8) Approximately overlapping the flat connector.
9) Close everything and add the fabric cord (optional).
10) Done!

Awesome design. It fits a Slimagotchi perfectly and is very sleek compared to the blocky cases that are out there. Boosted!

since some people have "complained" about the exact size in the reviews, I have increased the dimensions by +0.25% and it fits perfectly, thank you very much for this fantastic model!!!! P.S. For attaching the power bank, I simply used adhesive Velcro tape, which is completely sufficient for my purposes

Great design! Would you consider releasing a version that would fit the regular pwnagotchi?

Nice design! does this fit the newer waveshare 2.13inch hat+? it comes without the white connector but has small standoffs, they say its slimmer than the original!

I should do a test. I think it's necessary to remove the pins that are present in the print. They can easily break/remove even after printing. Unfortunately, I don't have that type of display to test. But it seems that all the dimensions match, so I'm confident it will work!

there is 1 small connector thats very so slightly making it too tall, about 1mm. case needs to be maybe 1mm deeper to fit without cutting connector. parts circled in red are touching making the sandwich uneven.

It didn't fit in as standard But I didn't want to solder around on the e-paper hat That's why I printed something else You absolutely must read the description Otherwise you'll get scolded 🤣 Because it's called slim!!!!!!

Instead of leaving 2 stars… is it really that hard to read the description? Slim means slim
