I have created a modular shelving system here

Inspired by @KobaRiley's 775794-shelfinity.

Unfortunately, his model had too many compromises for me and my vision.

Therefore, I rebuilt the system from the ground up.

Only the basic idea of the connection is still similar.

Caution! Not compatible with his model!

Caution! Not a quick project Patience and filament are required!

Mine is taller, the feather-groove connection is different, the boreholes and the channel for lighting
and also the arches/straights differ fundamentally.

The print profile for a 0.4 nozzle at a layer height of 0.2 has a total of 600 layers.

Layers 001-111 were printed with transparent PLA, layers 111-600 are in black PLA.

If you change the layer height, adjust the color change accordingly.

Since I did not like the pattern of the build plate, I positioned the model accordingly and smoothed the top layer.

This procedure increases the printing time by approximately 20 minutes per element.

I also significantly reduced the printing speed (to approximately 65%).

If you want the pattern of your build plate on the front, turn the components upside down.

Experiment with the speeds to massively reduce the printing time.

If you want to print the model on a bed slider (e.g., A1), rotate the straight elements by 90° around the z-axis.

Check the print bed adhesion and use the perimeter function on a bed slider.

Printed and tested on an X1C. The fit of the feather-groove connection is tolerated with a 0.05mm tolerance and

fits snugly and securely. It sits securely and firmly, but can be released with slight force.

The groove for the rectangular LED strip is suitable for the following model (no affiliate link!)

CCILAND Neon LED Strip 10M, 24V RGB Neon Strip with Remote Control APP Control, Music Sync LED Strip Silicone DIY Flexible Light Strip Waterproof for Living Room Bedroom Decor (RGB) : Amazon.de: Lighting

See if your strip fits or adjust the groove accordingly.

Caution! The LED strip is always included when attaching the elements to the wall.

It will be difficult afterwards 😉

Do not use countersunk screws for fastening. This stresses the material due to high tension.

Use PanHead screws (flat head or similar).

I also printed washers. 10x6x1 from PLA. Works excellently.

Place a washer between the screw and the component and a washer between the component and the wall.

This compensates for unevenness in the wall.

Model example with the raw data.

The assembly took me about 5 hours, but it was fun.

You still need time and patience.

Use a spirit level and align the elements properly.

Then the assembly is easier and the result is beautiful

I will add a cable duct to my shelf and either cut off the end of the hose or add a decorative element. I am still unsure about that.

I currently do not intend to design further elements, as I carried out this project for myself.

Nevertheless, I would like to share it with you. If you wish for simple changes or adjustments, contact me via PM.

If you like the implementation, feel free to show me your pictures.

I also greatly appreciate a like or boost.
