Gnome in Wheelchair

This is the first miniature in a series designed to represent characters with disabilities.

The disability community is vibrant and active in both D&D and 3D printing, yet it’s still underrepresented. We believe miniatures should tell stories that move us—stories that spark emotion and stay with us for a lifetime. Everyone deserves to see themselves in the games they love.

Our hope is that players—new and seasoned, young and old—can connect more deeply with their characters, or simply feel seen at the table.

None of us at Nozzleborn Foundry use a wheelchair or live with a physical disability, but each of us knows someone who does. This project is our way of honoring them, of saying, “You belong here.” We want to help make space for more voices, more stories, and more connection in both the D&D and 3D printing communities.

It’s a small step—but if it brings even one person joy, representation, or a sense of inclusion, then it’s a step worth taking.
